2011 Reforesting Scotland Annual Gathering

This year’s Gathering was held at a rural but central location: the village of Croy in the Kelvin Valley, North Lanarkshire. The theme was be Renewal, looking at how reforestation has formed part of this area’s efforts to reinvent and regenerate itself after the collapse of mining. Being in the heart of the Central Belt gave us an opportunity to reach out to a wide audience and showcase Reforesting Scotland to the public.
