Thanks very much for coming to the autumn gathering this year and thanks for your patience while we rearranged visits and workshops due to the storm. We’d really appreciate honest feedback so that we can improve on things for future gatherings and events. If you have anything else you would like to add or request followup information / contacts, please contact Alan: heartwood@reforestingscotland.org

Owen’s talk on Rural Craft Businesses

As mentioned at the talk, Reforesting Scotland have printed a small run of Owen’s 72-page study report from his trip across Europe looking at shingle making businesses and what we can learn from this back home. They arrived at the Loft on Monday – typical! We will retrieve them and have added them to the webshop where you can pre-order your copy here which will be sent out in November.

Photos

We’d love to see your photos from the weekend! We’ve created a shared album where you can add photos (or just have a look at other’s photos). View the shared album here.

Next Year...

Reforesting Scotland are a member led organisation and would love to hear from you on suggestions for next year's gathering. Do you have a suggestion for an area to visit, or perhaps a theme to focus on? Or maybe you just know of a great venue that we could use? Usually we try to find a venue that can hold around 80 people and this can be a real challenge!
